## Calculate your life path number

To put it simple, your life path number is derived from the sum total of the digits of your birth date. It’s very easy to calculate it, – even a child can do that:

1. Begin by converting the month, day, and birth year to single digits or a Master number (s)*.

2. Add each of the resulting digits (or Master numbers) together.

3. Do step 2 until a single digit (or Master number) is obtained.

[*Master numbers are 11, 22 and 33. For example, November is the 11th month, the 11th or 22nd days of any month, or sum of month, day, and birth year totals in 11 or 22 or 33. These numbers are not converted to single digits.]

Let’s do it together now:

### Example 1.

Let’s say your birthday is October 12th, 1976

1. We convert the month, day, and birth year to single digits or a Master number (s):

October is the 10th month. 1+0=1. 1 is your single digit of the month.

Then, day is 12. 1+2=3. 3 is your single digit of the day.

Year 1976 makes 1+9+7+6= 23. 23 is not a single digit nor a Master number. So we reduce it once again. 2+3=5. 5 is your single digit of the year.

2. We now add each of the resulting digits:

1+3+5=9

Congrats! Now you know your life path number. It’s 9.

### Example 2.

Let’s say your birthday is November 22th, 1975

1. We convert the month, day, and birth year to single digits or a Master number (s):

November is the 11th month. 11 is a Master number. So it remains 11.

Day 22. 22 is also a Master number. So it remains 22.

Year 1975 is 1+9+7+5= 22. Wow! 22 is the Master number, too.

2. We now add each of the resulting digits:

11+22+22=55

3. We repeat step 2 until we get a single digit (or Master number):

Meaning we take the final number from the previous step (55) and make it a single digit number:

5+5=10 Again, we get neither single digit number nor Master number.

So, we repeat step 2 again:

1+0=1

Finally, here is your life path number. It’s 1.
